My colleagues, the hubba and I went to a Restaurant at Lygon Street, Carlton for our Friday night chill out. For most who had been to Melbourne, you'll know the restaurants at Lygon street are famous and great at providing terrific Italians food such as Pizza and Pasta (any restaurant at Lygon street is equally good and value for its money).
We ordered garlic breads, pizza and pasta to share and the food were really good. We were in heaven - you should have seen our eyes gleaming. The accompany was great too - full of laughter, chatting and crazy antics. I was almost reduced to tears by their hilarious jokes and cranky stories too. It was so funny! I can't believe my Indonesian Chinese colleagues are such great entertainers. hee hee :)
After dinner, we headed to Crown casino to watch the Shrek 3 and was joined by another two of our fellow colleagues. The show was funny and all of us had a great time laughing! You should watch it if you haven't.
It was such a simple night yet I was left with a happy glowing feeling. I was happy because I'm surrounded with friends whom I can relate, click and feel comfortable with, although we all came from different countries. The hubba and I relocated to Melbourne from Perth with only few friends (most of our friends are either working in Perth, Sydney or Brisbane), yet in just 3 months, we've already know & have so many friends to hang out with for drinks, dinners, sightseeing, potluck...so on & forth. I feel so incredibly blessed :)
